📘 Instructor Resources and Practical Teaching Support
ITI Skill Guru’s Instructor Corner provides practical teaching resources for ITI instructors, CITS trainees and vocational trainers. The purpose of this section is to make commonly required academic and workshop-related material easier to locate, understand and use. Instructors can select their trade from the options above and access the resources currently available for that trade. The collection is being developed gradually with the support of instructors and contributors from different vocational trades.
🧰 What Resources Are Available?
Trade pages may include syllabus breakups, lesson plans, demonstration plans, teaching formats, assessment-related material and other classroom or workshop resources. Availability can vary from one trade to another because new material is reviewed and uploaded in stages. Each resource should be checked for the relevant trade, training year, topic and syllabus version before it is used. Where material has been contributed by an instructor, it may reflect practical experience and should be adapted according to the requirements of the institute and trainee group.
📝 Using Resources for Lesson and Demonstration Planning
Instructors can use these resources as references while planning theory lessons, practical demonstrations and workshop activities. A lesson plan should clearly identify the topic, learning objectives, teaching aids, introduction, presentation steps, trainee activities and assessment method. Demonstration plans should also consider tools, equipment, safety precautions, sequential working steps and the expected skill outcome. Trainers are encouraged to combine these formats with their own examples, workshop facilities and the learning level of each batch instead of using every document without modification.
✅ Responsible Use and Verification
ITI Skill Guru aims to provide useful and organised educational support, but instructors should verify important technical information from the latest official curriculum, institute instructions and applicable safety standards. External documents remain the property of their respective organisations or publishers, and any source attribution shown with a resource should be retained. If a file is outdated, incorrectly labelled or linked to the wrong trade, visitors can report it through the Contact Us page so that the collection can be corrected.
🤝 Contribute to the Instructor Community
Experienced instructors can help improve this section by voluntarily sharing original lesson plans, demonstration plans, teaching formats or suggestions for missing topics. Submitted material should be accurate, readable and free from confidential student information or copyrighted content that cannot legally be shared. Suitable contributions may be reviewed, organised and added to the relevant trade page. This collaborative approach helps instructors save preparation time while giving trainees access to clearer and better-planned learning experiences.
